A TASTE OF SPAIN IN AMERICA
El 30 de octubre estaremos participando todo el día en el fabuloso evento que presentara la Fundacion Nacional del Caballo Español en America "2009 National Celebration of the Pure Spanish Horse". Montaremos un "Cultural Stand" (justo al lado de la "Arena") que será atendido por un fabuloso grupo de guapas y guapos miembros de nuestra Peña Andaluza ataviados con trajes típicos y que estarán a cargo de informar y repartir folletos de Andalucía y resto de España facilitados por la Oficina de Turismo de España en Los Ángeles y por Turismo de Andalucía:, Visitaremos las diferentes casetas de los ganaderos participantes y culminará nuestra participación con dos shows en la "Arena" del fantástico Del Mar Horse Park,
Estaremos donde veas las banderas de España y Andalucía.

The renowned Flamenco Dance Troupe the Peña Andaluza will be adding to the "Taste Of Spain in America" talented dancers and colorful Spanish Costume! with "Paloma Aragón Flamenco"
This organization is been under the direction of Charo Monge since 1990 and represents the true culture of Southern Spain. They put on several events throughout the year in Southern California depicting Spanish Culture such as a Rocío, and the popular Feria de Sevilla where they serve the most authentic and delicious paella in this continent.

The Del Mar Horsepark is at the corner of Via de la Valle and El Camino Real.
The entrance to the Del Mar Horse park will be on your right.
It is located across the street from the San Diego Polo Grounds.

AVISO IMPORTANTE PARA LAS VOTACIONES AL PARLAMENTO GALICIA Y PAIS VASCO 2009
Como continuación a los correos electrónicos enviados por este Consulado General donde se remitía las instrucciones para las próximas votaciones al Parlamento Gallego y Parlamento Vasco, se informa la nueva instrucción efectuada por la Junta Electoral Central sobre documentación del voto por correo.
La mencionada Junta Electoral ha dictaminado que para que el voto sea valido, debe incluirse en el sobre de votación del elector, una fotocopia del pasaporte o del DNI, expedidos por las autoridades españolas, o en su defecto Certificación de Nacionalidad Española (*) expedida por el Consulado de España en su país de origen.

In commemorating the contribution of San Diego Presido to the cause of the American Revolution at 2:00 p.m. on November 15, 2008
The commemoration service will be held at the Serra Museum and will include a tour of the Museum and a musket salute.
Mr. Gabe Selak, Public Program Manager, San Diego Historial Society will speak about Mr. George W. Marston's contribution to the preservation of the Presidio and building of the Serra Museum.
A wine and cheese reception will be held on the museum patio and a Dinner will follow at the Acapulco Restaurant in Old Town.

An unforgettable and fabulous evening of family-oriented events that continue to highlight the majesty of the magnificent and noble Pure Spanish Horse. Watch tomorrow's generation of horse enthusiasts, young riders (ages 7 to 17), demonstrate their horsemanship skills. Dance to live music by professional artists. Other events include Alta Escuela exhibitions by well-known California trainers, performances by a traditional Mexican dance group, and the second round of Señorita Feria 2008. This final celebratory party will make you and your family feel like royalty as we share our passion and admiration for the elegance and nobility of the Pure Spanish Horse.
